♡ MY COLORWORK INSTRUCTIONS ♡
this project must be done in HDC & 1 graph square = 1 HDC
must start on an odd row
even numbered rows will be the wrong side if you are right handed
odd numbered rows will be the wrong side if you are left handed
read the graph from right to left on odd rows, and left to right on even rows
if you make the graphic into a plain tapestry, I would suggest a starting chain of 6 more than the graph to leave 3 on each side, plus one turning chain each row; I would suggest starting graph on row 3 and working two blank rows after the graph is completed

invented by pharmacist John Stith Pemberton; formulated with cocaine from coca leaves and caffeine from kola nuts to result in a stimulant medicine advertised to relieve headaches and help Pemberton control his morphine addiction due to Civil War injuries
Pemberton’s bookkeeper, Frank M. Robinson, is credited with naming and promoting Coca Cola as well as creating the logo!
Coca Cola graph is 18 rows by 66 stitches
requires 40g text color (& 70g background color as a tapestry) in medium worsted weight yarn (4)
with 5mm hook & the following gauge: 5 rows of 6 hdc = 2x2” you should have a finished graphic 7 inches tall and 22 inches wide
