♡ MY COLORWORK INSTRUCTIONS ♡
this project must be done in HDC & 1 graph square = 1 HDC
frog and all raindrops must start on an odd row
even numbered rows will be the wrong side if you are right handed
odd numbered rows will be the wrong side if you are left handed
read the graph from right to left on odd rows, and left to right on even rows
if you make the graphic into a plain tapestry, I would suggest a starting chain of at least 6 more than the graph to leave 3 on each side, plus one turning chain each row; I would suggest starting graph on row 3 and working two blank rows after the graph is completed
frog graph is 19 rows by 22 stitches
requires 15g black, 40g green, 10g each of white & dark green (& 40g background color as a tapestry) in medium worsted weight yarn (4)
5mm hook & gauge of 5 rows x 6 hdc = 7.5” wide by 8” tall finished graph
rainy frog graph is 27 rows by 42 stitches
requires 15g each of white & black, 40g green, 10g dark green (& 70g background color as a tapestry) in medium worsted weight yarn (4)
5mm hook & gauge of 5 rows x 6 hdc = 14” wide by 11” tall finished graph
